HiSky and Casa Salvo Take Flight: Connecting New York and Bucharest with Italian Flavor

In just over four years, Moldovan airline HiSky has transitioned from operating solely within Romania and Moldova to expanding its reach across Europe and now into America. The direct flight from New York to Bucharest has been in service since June 6, 2024, facilitating a smoother connection between the United States and Romania. Based in Chișinău, Moldova, HiSky serves various European cities, including Paris, Venice, and London, and has enriched its network with this strategic route for nearly a year. Founder Julian Scorpan expressed satisfaction with the company’s expansion and the growing number of passengers choosing HiSky for their travels.

In an effort to enhance the services offered to travelers, HiSky recently launched a partnership with Casa Salvo, the renowned provider of high-quality ready-made meals from New York, led by Chef Salvo Lo Castro. This collaboration will bring a touch of Italian and Mediterranean authenticity to the airline’s aircraft. Thanks to this partnership, passengers will be able to enjoy espresso coffee, cappuccinos, and a selection of pastries during their flights without compromising on flavor. This initiative not only adds value for customers but also demonstrates HiSky’s commitment to providing a more comfortable and memorable travel experience.

The collaboration between HiSky and Casa Salvo has been underway for about a week, and initial reactions have been enthusiastic. Both companies hope this synergy will strengthen over time, offering increasingly better service and keeping the cultural connection between New York and Bucharest alive. With the ongoing rise in demand for transatlantic travel, this initiative could prove pivotal in attracting a growing number of passengers interested in exploring Europe, particularly Romania.
